This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!

The popularity contest that is deviantArt sometimes puzzles me beyond belief.
I've just completed my first (of three) years of a Bachelor of Photography degree. My creative work, concept development and technical skills have all taken a massive leap forward. I did very well this year and I'm really proud of some of the work I have produced. Feedback was incredibly positive and it is likely that I will be looking to exhibit prints of some of this work shortly.
So I decided, after a busy year, that perhaps I should post some of this new work on dA. Funny thing is that the response has been virtually non-existent and some groups have declined my work. While this is not unusual(!), I'm astounded at the reaction is some instances. I'm not a great/brilliant artist and I still have a lot to learn, but I have learned a lot about critiquing the work of others and know that my own work (in many instances) is of higher quality than some work that is being accepted by these same groups.
This may sound egotistical, that is not my intent. I'm just disappointed. I wonder if I should even continue to post work here.
