4 nations under cloud by Dominion-Photography 4 nations under cloud by Dominion-Photography
The peak at left is Kanchenjunga (the world's third highest mountain, 8586m). The high peaks in the centre of the shot are Jomolhari (7314m), Jomolhari II (6935m), Jitchu Drake (6850m) and Tsheri Kang (6526m).

Kanchenjunga lies on the border of Nepal and India, while the mountains in the centre of the shot lie on the border of Bhutan (foreground) and Tibet.

Shot taken during departure from Paro in Bhutan.

Such a crisp photo. How good to get above the cloud. Did you see Everest?

Not clearly. It's further to the west (left) and cloud obscured most of the mountains in that direction.

Wow, what a beautiful aerial view of the mountains down below the clouds, as well as the distant mountains above the clouds! Great capture! I love gazing at this most tranquil photo, and it definitely leaves me with a relaxing feeling!

Thanks! Doesn't seem quite so tranquil to me, but my view is tainted by what was at the other end of this flight ...an 11 hour stop over at Bangkok airport! :faint:

Is it just me or are the clouds obscuring a really nice view?
